Hello readers,

I went to Gloucester today. First time for many years. Wonderful Aussie Country town atmosphere. I enjoyed the market especially all the animals for sale that you don’t see these days in the markets in the major cities and coastal towns.
Also a lot of bikers in town enjoying the coffee shops etc.

Forster coffee culture

We had a lot of rain overnight and this morning, but the afternoon has been fine.
A coffee culture is alive and well in Forster with at least 4 in the village, 3 along the lake shore and at least 5 at Stocklands.

Beach Bums coffee shop

Beautiful day here today and a lot of tourists about.
There is a coffee shop called Beach Bums at Main Beach and it always has people enjoying the scenery with their coffee & cake!

Forster Surf Life Saving Club & Club2Club Ocean swim

Hello readers,
Forster Surf Life Saving Club is holding the Club2Club Ocean swim this Sunday 10th April.
This is a 3.8 km swim from Cape Hawke SLFC (One Mile Beach) to Main Beach Forster.
There is also a shorter swim from Pebbly Beach to Main Beach.

Skaters & BMX Riders competition

Coming up on the 9th April is the King of the Krater competitions for Skaters and BMX riders. This is held at the Tuncurry Skate Park.

The Corellas are feasting on a Pine tree about 200mtrs from my office window. There are so many of them that it almost looks like snow is covering the Pine.
Noisy birds.
Must be a better feed somewhere as they have just flown off.

There is a tree in full bloom about 100m from my office window. It is a reasonably large tree covered in bright orange blossoms.
